* Start packing as soon as you find out you are moving.

* Pack your personal items in boxes or plastic tubs, not bags as they are more difficult to move and stack.

* Be sure to use bubble wrap or peanuts for your glass or china to ensure safe transport.

* You may consider labeling your boxes by room with marker or by color stickers.

* You may also bring all of your boxes to one room to save time when the movers arrive.

* Make sure you get the key to your new home in ADVANCE, not on the day of your move.

* If we are going to a storage unit, be sure to know the hours of the storage and have the key to your unit with you.

* Pulling apart any furniture that may require disassembly will certainly save a lot of time when the movers arrive.

* You can wrap your furniture with padded blankets and shrink wrap in advance, otherwise, we will be doing that for you.
